The Best Pizza Dough at La Pizzaria

In a county where hope is dying day after day, we still get to bump into optimistic pioneers that are building their own dreams and spreading their energy into others. This is the case of La Pizzaria, an Italian pizzeria owned by Fady Abou Naoum who also happens to be the chef of this cozy beautiful place located at the end of Gemmayze street facing St. Antonios Church. La Pizzaria offers many new choices of pizza that will let you want to visit it several times.
We started with La Pizza Libanese. It contained San Marzano tomato, mozzarella cheese, ham, porcini mushrooms, black olives and olive oil. The tomato sauce they use is one of the best in the market, the cheese is so delicious and tasty and all the ingredients are fresh. The only negative comment was that the cheese quantity was less than the previous time. We complained about it and the chef advised us to ask for more cheese the next time.

For dessert, we wanted something other than Nutella or peanut butter pizza. La Pizzaria amazed us with its one of a kind Pizza Fragole e Red & Black Berries as it's the first pizza that contains pastry cream (crème pâtissière) with strawberries and red & black berries along with powder sugar sprinkled on top. The dough was so thin and crispy which made the cream flavor very present. The berries added some tanginess to the whole mix. We really loved it.

We wish La Pizzaria lots of success because the chef is very passionate about his job and his main target is to know that his pizza makes your day.
