Gods of Egypt Movie Review

Once upon a time Egypt was the most powerful Empire and Gerard Butler newest movie will take us back to ancient times to witness its glory. The Gods Of Egypt is a fantasy adventure film based on Egyptian myths where a courageous boy Beck decides to join the battle with god Horus who was exiled by his own son Set the god of darkness after he stole the crown and kingdom from him.
Kings of Egypt looks and feels like a video game thanks to the gods having each his own super powers. Not to forget the "femmes fatales" goddesses that add a lot of charm and sexiness to the movie. The film focuses on the Egyptian mythology but with a touch of modern giving us a new take on the Egyptian gods.
Once again Gerard Butler excelled in his role as he perfectly fits warrior characters and better if he is the bad guy.The costumes are dazzling, the direction will take you to another world and the special effects are phenomenal.
We really missed that type of movies that we used to watch a couple of years ago and that we still enjoy.
