Abou Abdalla Restaurant​ a Breakfast to look forward to on Weekends

There is more to Lebanese breakfast than the knefeh and the mana2eesh as we are also proud of our foul and hommos. We always wanted to try this traditional breakfast and many of our friends recommended Abou Abdallah in Dora next to Khoury Home on the inside road. The place has a homey touch with wooden tables and an open kitchen where you can see the live preparation.

We ordered Hommos with Pine Nuts and a plate of Foul. Each platter was served with generous amount of fresh vegetables and two loafs of bread.
•The hommos was delicious as it was creamy and well blended. The fried nuts on top added a special crispy taste. They were not oily and didn't make the hommos heavier.

•The foul was very well seasoned. They don't add lemon, oil or salt because they keep it up to you to put as much as you want since there is lemon juice, oil, salt and cumin.

The food was delicious nothing extraordinary from the ones that my grandma prepares but when you go to Abou Abdallah it's about the experience that you have where all the customers are happily sharing the same kind of food. We were very impressed with the generosity of this place, the polite staff that are always smiling and especially the hygiene because while they were closing we got the chance to see them cleaning and emptying each condiment on the table from the salt shakers to the lemon jar.
