We are in Love with Loris!!

Some restaurants won't stop amazing us. It's our second visit to Loris and we still haven't met her but we are totally in love with this Lady. Loris is located in the famous pink building in Gemmayze and that's not the only special thing about it. What we love about their menu is that they have a Loris twisted platter in addition to the classics. The place is full of positive vibes; the terrace will satisfy the shisha lovers, the interior is marvelously decorated and the backyard will bring you with a nostalgia of traditional houses with the central fountain and some greenery.
We started our feast with the Loris Tabboule. It had the same main ingredients of the ordinary tabbouleh but with rocket leaves and a special sweet sauce that gave it a unique taste. If you like sweet and sour food you will fall in love with this salad!

As appetizers we had:

The Cheese Cigars that are similar to rakakat but they come thinner and crispier. They contained a delicious cheese with habbit l barake. They were addictive.
The Beiruty Hommos that consisted of the original hommos blended with mixed vegetables. It is perfect for vegetable fans. And for people who don't like veggies, Loris offers the biggest variety of hommos including one with kebbe which is so good.
Now for main platters, we ordered a Lahem Biajin Loris and a Taouk sandwich.

The Lahem Biajin was good it was a bit greasy but the dough they used was simply divine. The portion was generous.

The Taouk Sandwich was succulent! It exceeded our expectations as it was served with a mini fattoush, crunchy golden fries and seasoned pickles which were finger licking good. The chicken was perfectly marinated and very well grilled. It is served sliced in toasted bread. Just for 13000 LBP this platter is a real catch.

After this meal, Loris will sweeten your mouth with seasonal fruits on the house. As dessert lovers we couldn't but try their Loris desserts so we went for the Maamoul bel Jebne and Loris Chocolate Pie.
The Maamoul was orgasmic. It is our favorite Arabian dessert and Loris succeeded in flawlessly preparing it. It came very hot and crispy and when we cut it cheese was melting from the heart.

The Loris Chocolate Pie was sinfully yummy. It consisted of Loris unique dough topped with Nutella, strawberries, bananas and nuts.

Loris is definitely the restaurant everyone should visit not only for their great food but also for the overall experience from their warm welcoming to the kindest service and charming location. Popcorn961 recommends It.
