Lebanese food never gets old at Enab Mar Mikhael

You can get bored from Italian, Japanese, French and Chinese cuisines but never from Lebanese cuisine due to the wide variety of platters and mezza that it includes. Our latest discovery was Enab in Mar Mikhael. The first thing that catches your attention from outside is it's external elevator and long stairs. Once you enter this restaurant you are in a totally different world. The restaurant is huge with a beautiful terrace and a mountain rocks that covers it. The interior part is very cozy decorated with vintage furniture. Their menu is varied unlike other Lebanese restaurants with some platters you had at your grandma's house.

• We started with the Fattoush with debs el remmen. It was very good. The vegetables were very fresh and the sauce was perfect. It is served with fried bread on the side so you can put as much as you want.
• The Labneh w Toum was so delicious. It had the adequate quantity of garlic.
• The Hommos was very tasty. It was creamy and had the right lemon dose. Ask for hot bread while you eat it.
• The Batata with Kezbara were yummy! They were very crispy with a pinch of spices. We couldn't stop eating them.
• The Rakakat were our favorite. The cheese used was exceptional and they were so crunchy without being oily.

• The kebbeh was succulent! It was filled with Labneh which gave it a different taste. It comes grilled yet it was crispy. The only complaint is that the portion was small.

• We fell in love with The Feta bel forn. It is like the feta we prepare with onions and tomatoes but baked. The cheese was hot and melting. The whole mixture was excellent.

• The Kafta bi Laban was average. Maybe it's our fault that we did not eat it hot, but what is sure is that the meat was not the best used. It needed more seasonings. It was generously sprinkled with pine nuts.

What we really loved about Enab is that they always provide us with freshly baked bread that make the food more enjoyable.
Enab is definitely worth the visit, they serve good food for a very reasonable price.
