Sunday spent wisely at Grand Hills Hotel.

It's time to think of alternatives on how to spend your Sunday other than the beach. Just 20 minutes away from Beirut and located in Broumana, Grand Hills Hotel and Spa Broumana will mesmerize you with panoramic nature views from its terrace where the beautiful pool is located and the Sunday buffet is served.
The buffet includes a variety of Lebanese mezza and appetizers, international salads, a live pasta station, main platters, dessert and for the first time we see it in a buffet: a kids section.
• This time we wanted to be organized, so our first platter consisted of salads. The Greek salad was so delicious. The feta was not too salty and all the ingredients were fresh. The chef salad was excellent with generous amount of cheese and ham. We loved the Caesar salad, the fattoush, and the tabbouleh but unfortunately we were not able to try the tuna salad, the pasta salad and many others since there was still much more to eat.
• Now for the mezza, should we talk about the tasty shrimps or the tender roast beef or the bastarma or the smoked salmon... Whatever we talk about we will say the same word yummy. Not to forget the hommos, the tajen samak, the shanklish, the batenjen, the tasty salmon rolls and many more.
•We couldn't but sneak some crispy nuggets and fries, mini pizzas and mini burgers from the kids section because no matter how old we are we will always love them.
• Our favorite part was the live pasta station. They offer the choice between white sauce with mushroom and cheese or bolognaise. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauces were very mouthwatering.
• The hot dishes included kafta, soujok, taouk, paella, trout salmon, accompanied with steamed rice, steamed vegetables or grilled potatoes.
We adored the paella as it contained unlimited amount of sea food such as jumbo shrimps, mussels and calamari.
The taouk was very light and tasty.
The soujok were full of spices and we couldn't stop eating them.

• The moment we always wait for in a buffet is the sweet one. Their desserts will satisfy everybody's taste buds. They have osmaliye, mouhallabiyeh, oum ali and sfouf for Lebanese desserts lovers plus international classics like tiramisu, cheesecake, chocolate tarte, exotic tarte, the majestic mille-feuille, chocolate mousse, brownies, cakes and many more. Every single item was succulent but we fell in love with the tiramisu, the cheesecake and the mille-feuille.

It's always a great idea to pamper yourself on a Sunday so you get all the energy you need to start a fresh week. The Sunday buffet at Grand Hills will do the trick and put you in a great mood.
