The Curry Chiken, Home Made Indian Food.


Are you always craving Indian food? Here's my recipe of the famous curry chicken so you can prepare it at home. It's easy and very delicious. 

Preparation time: 1 hour
Ingredients: for 6 persons
-1kg of chicken fillet breasts 
-2 cups of basmati rice
-2 big onions
-40g of butter 
-4 tablespoons olive oil
-200g of mushrooms
-100g of cashew
-2 cups chicken stock
-3 teaspoons curry powder
-1 teaspoon ginger powder
-1 teaspoon garlic powder
-400g greek yogurt
-salt
-pepper 
-cinnamon




Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes before cooking it. Boil the rice with 4 cups of water for about 15 minutes (each cup of rice requires 2 cups of water) The preparation method is usually written on the package

Prepare the chicken breasts: wash them in water and salt

then in vinegar and cut them into slices.

Boil the chicken slices with some cinnamon pieces

Remove the foam created from the chicken



Remove the chicken and add 1 cube of chicken stock
In a pan add the oil and butter





Add the chicken and the spices (curry, ginger and garlic)




Wait until golden


Remove the chicken and in the same pan add the sliced onions so that the chicken taste is conserved. Add salt and pepper

Wait until golden


Add the mushrooms


In the same pan roast the cashews



Put all the ingredients in a cooker. Add the chicken stock








Make them boil about 15 minutes. Add salt to taste. Add the yogurt



Serve hot with the basmati rice and enjoy
